By participating in the giveaway advertised by The New Zealand Merino Company on its Instagram page and/or other social media channels (the “Giveaway”), you confirm that you accept and agree to these giveaway terms. 

The Promoter of the Giveaway is The New Zealand Merino Company Limited (“NZMC”). 

The Giveaway promotion commences on Friday, 7 March 2025 and closes on Sunday, 16 March 2025 at 11.59pm (“Giveaway Period”) 

To enter the Giveaway during the Giveaway period the entrant must follow @discoverzq official Instagram page and follow the conditions of entry as specified on the Giveaway Instagram post and/or other Social Media channel. 

This is a one-off giveaway and there will be two winners picked at random on Wednesday, 19 March 2025 at 12pm NZST. 

The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram and/or other Social Media channels. 

By engaging in this Giveaway, you understand and agree that you are providing your information to The New Zealand Merino Company and not to Instagram and/or other Social Media channels, and that Instagram and/or other Social Media channels are in no way responsible or liable to you for anything arising directly or indirectly out of, or in connection with, your involvement with this Giveaway. 

Unless otherwise stated, the Giveaway is only open to New Zealand residents only. If the Giveaway is limited to a specific customer segment this will be specified in the Giveaway Instagram post and/or other Social Media channel. 

The vouchers are only redeemable with our selected New Zealand based brand partners ( Swanndri, icebreaker, Max, Barkers, Mons Royale, glerups, Untouched World, Perriam, and Kaiora Down Mats ) 

The Giveaway is open to New Zealand residents and are not open to employees of The New Zealand Merino Company. Entrants must follow the instructions on the Giveaway Instagram post and/or other Social Media channel to enter this Giveaway. 

Entrants must follow the steps on the Giveaway Instagram post and/or other Social Media channel to enter. All valid entries received by the specified end date will go into the draw. 

The New Zealand Merino Company is not responsible if you have caused, or are responsible for any late, lost, or misdirected entries which may result in delay or failure to enter you into the draw. 

All entries to this Giveaway become the property of The New Zealand Merino Company official Instagram page @discoverzq. 

The New Zealand Merino Company will endeavour to notify each of the prize winners by direct message on Instagram, email, text or phone. However, if the winner cannot be reached within twenty working days, we may redraw a new prize winner without liability to any person. The New Zealand Merino Company reserves the right to contact the selected winners by other means. 

Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged or redeemed for cash. The New Zealand Merino Company takes no responsibility for entries or prizes that are lost or destroyed. 

The winner acknowledges that redemption of some prizes may require the winner to be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent.  

If an entrant cannot accept the prize for any reason, that prize will be void and no compensation will be payable.  

The decisions of The New Zealand Merino Company on all matters relating to this Giveaway are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The New Zealand Merino Company reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner's right to redeem the prize in accordance with these terms and conditions. The New Zealand Merino Company reserves the right to amend the prizes offered and these terms and conditions and in its absolute discretion cancel the competition at any time and without prior notice.  

To the extent permitted by law, The New Zealand Merino Company excludes any liability it may have to you arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Giveaway. 

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promotor (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected; (d) any variation in the prize; any tax liability incurred by a claimant or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.  

Any personal information collected as part of this Giveaway will be held by The New Zealand Merino Company in accordance with its privacy policy. You have the right to access, update and correct such information. 

Entering the Giveaway or accepting the prize constitutes a winner’s consent to be photographed and/or interviewed by The New Zealand Merino Company and other interested media outlets and to use his or her name, city/town of residence, Giveaway entry and/or photographs for Giveaway or publicity purposes without compensation. This includes The New Zealand Merino Company website, direct and social media channels, and PR. 

By participating in this Giveaway, you understand that our connected app(s) will place a cookie on the hard drive of your computer or/and mobile devices. A "cookie" is a file which allows The New Zealand Merino Company to track and target the interests of users, and serve ads based on your prior visits to this website. All personal information provided by entrants will be held by the Promotor at the address specified in clause 25 below. Under the Privacy Act 2020, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information.
